North Gallery

Two people, one room, and a preference for work that does not shout.

North Gallery opened in 2019 in a former framer's shop. We show photography and works on paper — mostly from people living and working in and around Ghent — and we hang only a handful of pieces at once. We are not a shop and not a museum; we are the kind of place you visit once and then bring a friend to.

We do not keep fixed opening hours. A room this size is better seen slowly and alone, so we open by appointment and are glad to stay late if the light is good. Most of what we show is for sale, and prices are plain and written on a card by the door.
