Past exhibitions
A short record of what has hung here. We keep the list honest and the shows small.
Margins
Fourteen silver prints by Elke Vermeulen, made along the city canals over three winters. The smallest frames in the room, and the ones people stand in front of longest.
Paper Weather
Drawings and folded works by Joris Baelen. A single long table and a wall of light pencil — the show was quiet enough that visitors spoke in whispers without being asked.
Grid, Undone
Geometric prints from three printmakers working against the ruler rather than with it. Half the pieces sold to people who had never bought a print before.
Low Tide
Early-morning photography of the harbour by Anke de Vries. Hung low, as if seen from a boat.
First Room
Our opening show: a little of everything we hoped to keep showing. Twelve works, borrowed frames, a kettle in the corner.
